From the creative minds behind Brotherhood Sound System, just A Little and Vagabondz comes Patterns Festival – a celebration of music, arts and culture. Following from our show with Goldie’s (MBE) exclusive funk & soul set, we return to Brixton Jamm after a string of sell out shows in 2015 at the notorious South London spot!

Get ready as 7 piece funk & soul band The Haggis Horns will be joining DJ Cheeba to debut his live David Bowie AV show!

The Haggis Horns (Live)

The infamous The Haggis Horns hardly need any introduction, having been at the forefront of the UK funk scene since they came to our attention on the legendary album “Keb Darge Presents The New Mastersounds”. They have two funk-fuelled albums under their belt, ‘Hot Damn!’ & ‘Keep On Movin’ and they have been rocking crowds across the world for years winning fans with their distinctive northern funk sound combining ass-shaking breakbeats, afrobeat, soul and hip-hop.

Having performed with the likes of Jamiroquai, John Legend & The Roots, Amy Winehouse, Roots Manuva, Nightmares On Wax, Adele, Mark Ronson, Craig Charles Presents The Fantasy Funk Band, The Cinematic Orchestra + many more, we are super excited to have The Haggis Horns at Patterns Festival.

DJ Cheeba (Live David Bowie AV Show)

Following the invitation to join Ninja Tune’s legendary Solid Steel radio show as a resident in 2010, Cheeba has spent the last couple of years producing a number of themed audio mixtapes and groundbreaking video projects while relentlessly touring some of the most prestigious venues and festivals in the UK, Europe and beyond.

Over the last few years Cheeba supported acts such as: Mos Def, Dead Prez, DJ Yoda, Roots manuva, Ghostface Killah, Peanut Butter Wolf, DJ Krush, DJ Vadim, Bonobo and many more.

At the end of 2011, Cheeba returned with the release of ‘DJ Cheeba: Live’. His latest AV adventure aimed to give a better impression of the live experience by adding footage from an epic show at The Roundhouse alongside creative green screen studio sessions which placed him “inside” the videos. Once more, it was met with wide spread acclaim and rapidly reached number 1 in the iTunes music video podcast charts.
